Welcome to Speed Up Bike Rentals. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and bike rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, making a booking, or using any of our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driving license appropriate for the bike category
• Have a valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.)
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Not be disqualified from renting bikes under any law or previous agreement with us

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To make a booking, you must create an account by providing:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Valid driving license details
• Government-issued ID

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must:

• Keep your password secure
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Booking and Rental

4.1 Booking Process

When making a booking:

• Select the bike, pickup location, date, and time
• Review the rental terms and pricing
• Provide accurate rider information
• Complete payment to confirm booking

4.2 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed only after successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email with booking details and a unique booking ID.

4.3 Minimum Rental Period

The minimum rental period is 6 hours. Rentals are calculated on an hourly basis with tiered pricing for longer durations.

4.4 Bike Availability

Bikes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute a similar or higher category bike if the booked bike is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Rental Charges

Rental charges are based on:

• Duration of rental
• Bike model selected
• Additional services (helmet, accessories)
• Applicable taxes (18% GST)

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit/Debit cards
• UPI
• Net Banking
• Digital Wallets

5.3 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of bike pickup. The deposit will be refunded after bike return, subject to inspection for damages.

5.4 Additional Charges

You may be charged additionally for:

• Late returns (per hour rate applies)
• Damages to the bike
• Traffic violations or fines
• Fuel charges (if not returned with full tank)
• Cleaning charges (if returned excessively dirty)

6. Bike Pickup and Return

6.1 Document Verification

At the time of pickup, you must present:

• Original driving license
• Original government-issued ID
• Booking confirmation
• Payment receipt

6.2 Bike Inspection

You must thoroughly inspect the bike before accepting it. Report any pre-existing damages or issues immediately. Failure to do so may result in you being held responsible for such damages.

6.3 Return Procedure

When returning the bike:

• Return it to the designated location
• Ensure the fuel tank is full (if applicable)
• Return all accessories provided
• Allow for final inspection

6.4 Late Returns

Late returns will be charged at the hourly rate. If delayed by more than 3 hours without notification, it will be considered theft and reported to authorities.

7. User Responsibilities

7.1 Rider Obligations

As a rider, you must:

• Have a valid driving license and wear a helmet at all times
• Comply with all traffic rules and regulations
• Not allow unauthorized persons to ride the bike
• Not use the bike for racing, stunts, or illegal activities
• Not modify or tamper with the bike
• Not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Park the bike in safe and authorized areas
• Report accidents or damages immediately

7.2 Prohibited Uses

You must not use the bike for:

• Commercial purposes without written permission
• Transporting illegal goods or substances
• Off-road riding or prohibited areas
• Teaching others to ride
• Any purpose that violates local laws

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Insurance Coverage

All bikes are insured with third-party liability insurance as per Indian Motor Vehicles Act. However, the insurance may not cover:

• Damages due to reckless driving or negligence
• Personal injuries to the rider
• Loss of personal belongings
• Damages while riding under influence

8.2 Customer Liability

You are liable for:

• Any damage to the bike beyond normal wear and tear
• Theft of the bike due to your negligence
• Traffic violations and fines incurred during rental period
• Accidents caused by your negligence or violation of traffic rules
• Loss of bike documents or accessories

8.3 Company Liability

Speed Up Bike Rentals shall not be liable for:

• Personal injuries sustained during the rental period
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Consequential damages arising from bike malfunction
• Delays or inability to use the bike due to circumstances beyond our control

9. Accidents and Damages

9.1 Reporting

In case of an accident, you must:

• Stop immediately and check for injuries
• Call emergency services if needed (Police: 100, Ambulance: 108)
• Notify Speed Up Bike Rentals within 1 hour
• File a police report (FIR) for insurance purposes
• Not admit liability or make settlements without our authorization
• Provide all necessary documentation for insurance claims

9.2 Damage Assessment

Upon return, we will inspect the bike for damages. You will be charged for:

• Repair costs for physical damages
• Replacement costs for lost or damaged parts
• Loss of rental income during repair period
• Administrative charges for processing insurance claims

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your booking and access to our services if:

• You violate any terms of this agreement
• You provide false information
• You engage in fraudulent activities
• You damage our property or reputation
• Your account shows suspicious activity

Termination will not entitle you to any refund, and you will remain liable for all charges incurred.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of Speed Up Bike Rentals and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding
• Reverse engineer or decompile our software
• Create derivative works based on our content

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your City], India.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, pandemics, government actions, strikes, or technical failures.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Speed Up Bike Rentals regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
